A doorstep on Diwali evening: bowls of coloured powder, a tray of petal, dot and leaf tiles, and a squirrel who likes patterns. Lay a few tiles in the rule slot and the rangoli border repeats them by itself; the squirrel guesses your rule, a sorting tray waits at the side, and when the border is full and the tray is sorted the diyas light.
