Recommended prep plan

Phase 1
Months 1–4 (read read read)

1 long-form editorial + 1 legal-news piece daily. Build reading speed to 250 wpm with 90% comprehension.

Phase 2
Months 5–7 (sectional drills)

1 sectional per day. Build a current-affairs notes file (one page per month).

Phase 3
Months 8–10 (PYQ + mocks)

All CLAT PYQs since 2020 (new pattern). 2 full-length mocks per week. Track sectional sectional time.

Phase 4
Last 30 days

Revise current affairs (last 12 months). Mock + analysis daily.

Phase 5
Day-of exam

Skip the longest passage if it's first — circle back. 0.25 negative + 120 min for 120 Qs means accuracy > speed.
