Recommended prep plan

Phase 1
Months 1–4 (foundation)

NCERT cover-to-cover for all 3 subjects. Build concept density before speed.

Phase 2
Months 5–8 (problem-solving)

HC Verma + DC Pandey (Physics), MS Chauhan + NCERT exemplar (Chemistry), Cengage / SL Loney (Maths). One chapter test per week.

Phase 3
Months 9–10 (PYQ + mocks)

All shifts of the last 10 years, then 2 full-length mocks per week with detailed error analysis.

Phase 4
Last 30 days

Revision only — no new topic. Daily mock + revision notes. Trim weak chapters.

Phase 5
Day-of exam

Section A first (the secure 80%), then B (numericals). Skip + return is the discipline that wins.
