The source of Pemali river originates in Winduaji village, Paguyangan district, Brebes Regency, with Tuk Sirah as the name of its spring. The Pemali River is the largest river in Brebes Regency with a length of approximately 125.4 km flowing from south, emptying north to Brebes delta by the Java Sea. The watershed area is 1,276.4 km2 (492.8 sq mi) comprising Brebes Regency and Tegal Regency
